Children’s Story Hour

(MINOT, ND)—Mary Logue, MD, a dermatologist with Trinity Health, will visit the Minot Public Library Saturday, November 12, to lead a special Family Story Hour.

The hour, which runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., will feature children’s stories and a craft project dealing with skin, doctors and other topics. There will be giveaways, free samples of skin products and handouts on skin care.

“It’ll be a lot of fun,” said Dr. Logue. “I was a school teacher before I became a physician, so I’m planning an activity that will demonstrate ways to keep our skin safe and healthy.”

A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Logue specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the skin, hair and nails for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and many more. She also specializes in pediatric dermatology.

She earned her medical degree from the University of New Mexico and completed her intern year in pediatrics at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She returned to the University of New Mexico to complete her dermatology residency, half of which was completed at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque. Dr. Logue joined Trinity Health last year.
