Bottineau Man Injured in Crash

Motorcycle Rollover 

What: Injury  

Where: 1 mi east of Michigan on US 2  

When: 09/14/2022 @ 15:40 CDST  

Road Conditions: Good  

Weather Conditions: Windy and Overcast  

Crash Involvement: 1 Vehicle  

Type of Crash: Rollover and ejection 

 Agencies Involved: NDHP, Guardian Life Flight, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan Ambulance Service  

Vehicle No. 1: 2018 Indian Chieftain  

Driver No. 1: Todd Wyman, 55 yo male, Bottineau, ND, severely injured

Restraints: Helmet 

 Charges: none  

NARRATIVE: Wyman was westbound on Hwy 2 from Fargo to Bottineau. Wyman just passed another vehicle, and the motorcycle began to wobble. Wyman lost control of the motorcycle and the bike skidded northwest gradually and entered the north ditch. Wyman was ejected from the motorcycle and found in the right lane. Michigan Ambulance and Guardian Life Flight tended to his injuries and was flown to Altru Hospital to be treated for severe injuries. The crash is under investigation by the NDHP.
