The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 4 people were injured in a right-angle crash near Litchville Friday afternoon.

According to the NDHP, a car, being driven by a 34-year-old woman with three children as passengers, was traveling north bound on Highway 1. A motorhome, being driven by an 83-year-old man with an 85-year-old woman as a passenger, was stopped at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 46.

The car continued northbound, and the driver of the motorhome failed to yield upon entering Highway 1, striking the car on the driver side. The motorhome pushed the car into the northeast corner of the intersection causing both vehicles to strike a light pole.

The occupants of the car were transported by ambulance to CHI Mercy Hospital in Valley City to be treated for their injuries.

The occupants of the motorhome were uninjured.

The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
