Man Dies from Injuries Suffered in Crash

MANDAN — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the man involved in a collision with a semi back on March 4 in Morton County has died from his injuries.

According to the NDHP, Scott Walden, 46, Missoula, Mont., passed away on March 11. He had been traveling on Interstate 94 about 15 miles west of Mandan. Road conditions in the area were icy with freezing rain and drizzle. A semi traveling in the opposite direction lost control, crossed the median, and entered the westbound lane, colliding with Walden's vehicle.

Walden and his passenger, Antonina Walden, 49, were transported to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck. The semi driver was taken to CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck.

This crash remains under investigation.
