Anti-Vaccine-Mandate Bill Moves Forward

5:35 p.m., Nov. 11-- HB 1511 has been moved forward by the Joint Technical Corrections Committee. This bill is the only bill moving forward that would offer protection to many North Dakotans from COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Because the JTCC moved HB 1511 forward with a Do Pass recommendation, they gave HB 1510 a Do Not Pass recommendation. That bill is similar to the current law in the state of Montana.

The work of the JTCC is complete. Now the House and Senate, respectively, need to act on all the bills that have been moved forward by the JTCC and also those acted on by the other half of the assembly already.

The house will be in session at 6 p.m. this evening, and then again at 8 p.m.
